Too Many Thoughts

Haven’t felt good all day and I still can’t sleep.

When I hear something on tv and it triggers a thought, my first reaction is to write it down. But on this night, my thoughts are jumbled and I’m not sure where to start.

This is the first holiday in 27 years that I’ve spent without my family. It’s not that I’m not greatful for the family I’m marrying into, because they have been nothing short of amazing to me.

US President Expected to Announce Afghanistan Policy Tuesday

U.S. news organizations say President Barack Obama plans to announce his new strategy for Afghanistan on Tuesday evening, during a prime-time television address.

The reports say the president is most likely to back a plan to send between 30,000 and 35,000 additional U.S. troops to the country.

The top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan earlier this year told the president that up to 40,000 troops are needed to combat Taliban and al-Qaida militants in the region.

The Holidays

I’ll be the first to admit that I hate Holidays, well I hate three of them. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my birthday. My birthday shouldn’t be considered a holiday, but for some reason your family and friends turn it into the most important day ever. Which seems nice at first, but then you realize you gotta act surprised, and you’ve gotta entertain all of these people, and all of the attention is on you.
