I can't believe it's already the end of another year! That's one of those things you really don't have to say, isn't it...So forget I said that. I was scrambling around like a crazy person Friday, meeting a friend for lunch to exchange Christmas/Hannukah presents and then last-minute grocery shopping and cleaning the house and basic getting ready for the parents. My daddy drove 18 hours straight, stopping only to gas up and take care of business. It's a matter of pride for him, plus my mama is too freaked out to drive on the interstate. She literally has panic attacks. It's sad.

Got into an argument with Freddie over Emma Kelly's lack of being fully potty-trained. In fact, at one point he accused me of being "what's wrong with America's youth today." Extreme much? What a whirlwind couple of days. So many bands, just BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! And I got to discover some stuff I wasn't really familiar with -- like Phoenix.
