It was a weird chain of events on Saturday to say the least. I was at a sports bar watching some college football and enjoying my afternoon and my phone rings. I don’t think Ive ever been more ready for a weekend than I am right now. No, I don’t have any exciting plans. Im just exhausted. Maybe its because I haven’t been sleeping well. Why don’t I cook?? At least sometime? The last time I cooked for me, I made hot dogs. It was about a month ago. Lately, I have not felt like cleaning up my house. I just haven’t been in the mood. So, yesterday I made the decision to do something that rich people do. I just realized that its almost 7pm and I have not turned my T.V. on once today. Today was not a good day. I woke up this morning at 1am to the sounds of my dog stretch not having a good night. she was having a seizure. I worked to try to calm her down and by 3am she seemed too be dozing off to sleep. I just got back from the kids kids trip. And now its back from the land of everything that’s perfect and magical to everything that is real. It was 4 or 5 days of smiles and happiness and little javarise was just one of the kids that headed from the airport to the hospital. In his case, he had to go to take yet another treatment for his leukemia. Im praying for you buddy.

We’ve got a great group of kids along with their families here at Disneyworld. We have met almost all of them and I have begun my job of trying to remember all of their names.

The Mexican weekend was very fast. Especially the part about getting up to catch an EARLY flight on Sunday morning. I was soo afraid that I was going to miss the plane that I really never actuall went to sleep in the bed. i knew if I did that, I may not have heard my alarm. Yay, mexico today! For those that may be new here, me and a buddy bought a bar in playa del Carmen, mexico a a little over year ago. Its called big al and redneck steve’s beer bucket. It’s a dive bar 2 blocks from the beach. But it does give me an excuse to go visit about every 6 weeks. We’re having a big Halloween party there Saturday night and im the dj! I have to say that today was a very productive day. I worked at home doing laundry, and more laundry… which I HATE doing by the way! I washed dishes. I swept the floor. I jogged 4 miles. Then I did some radio work for a couple hours. then I went to the Michael Jackson movie screening. I ate very little by the way so maybe I actually lost a pound or two today.
