I can honestly say this may be the longest week of my life. :) I can't remember coming back from the Kidd's Kids trip so emotionally and physically drained. Everybody in the building is sick and I'm convinced I'm day one into Swine Flu. Getting to the weekend is my only goal... Caroline is coming in to visit so hopefully she'll be cool with just veggin' on the couch!

My two biggest flaws are lack of patience and lack of appreciation for the moment. This is not something I decided…it’s been confirmed by most of my friends, all of my co-workers, an ex-wife, and four therapists.

I've been doing this a long time and I have to say, it is freakin REMARKABLE how good this band is in 2 days. And not one of them is older than FOURTEEN.
We went into this with NO intention of going beyond the one week with them but I have a feeling this story may not be over on Friday.

I am not going to be happy with this blog. I can't find the right words. The mix of emotions I'm feeling right now make it impossible for me to write what's in my heart. The best way I can put it for now is that its equal parts sorrow and confusion.

Just got off the phone with my daughter Caroline who is a freshman in college and spending the summer at school. She got a job at a trendy boutique ONE WEEK AGO and today she was promoted to manager. LOL. I'm not sure if that's now her official title, but apparently
every other employee quit within a 48 hour period for various reasons, so Caroline is the only employee left. She was so excited to tell me, "I have the keys to the store!" God help us all. :)

Out of town this past weekend and a music friend had heard the morning show while he was on the road. This guy is pretty analytical and he began examining and dissecting the show (the way he does music) and was asking me a bunch of questions about the people on the show.

My show was one of the several that were rudely hung-up on in the middle of the interview. I'm told that when we asked for an explanation, we were told that we were "out of time".
